Katlego Terrell Gabanakgosi

Mr. Katlego Terrell Gabanakgosi qualified for a National Diploma in Civil Engineering in 1998 (Technikon Northern Transvaal), and for a B.Tech. Degree in Civil Engineering in 2005 (University of Johannesburg).

He has 9 years experience in the Engineering industry, broken down into 5 years outside South Africa (Tanzania, Botswana, Mozambique and Angola) where he practised as an Engineer for construction giants Murray and Roberts Civils, and later Grinaker-LTA West Africa.

Mr. Gabanakgosi was recruited back to South Africa in 2004 by Botshelo Water Board, where he practised for 4 years as Area Manager for Madikwe District and later the Area Manager for Kagisano Local Municipality area of Jurisdiction. He joined Moses Kotane Local Municipality in February 2008 as a Director Infrastructure and Technical Services.

Objectives

• Prepares, manages and monitors the capital and operational budget of the Directorate.
• Oversees the implementation of infrastructural projects of the municipality.
• Implementation and maintenance of water, sanitation, roads and storm-water, electrical services.
• Ensures the development of communities through provision of infrastructural services.
