Publication of annual budget for 2007 / 2008 and
MTREF for 2007 / 2008 to 2009 / 2010

The Operating and Capital Budgets of the Moses Kotane Local Municipality have been approved by the Council on 8 June 2007. Notice is hereby given in terms of Section 22 of the Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act, Act 56 of 2003, read with Chapter 4 of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act, Act 32 of 2000, that the operating and capital budgets, the Medium Term Revenue and Expenditure Framework, all budget related policies as well as the revised Integrated Development Plan are open for inspection by the public at the office of the Municipal Manager, Civic Centre, Mogwase during normal office hours for a period of 30 days from the date of this publication. A summary of the budget is provided below.

Any person or body wishing to lodge an objection or comment on the said budgets must do so in writing before 14 July 2007. Any person who cannot read or write will be assisted by a staff member of the municipality during normal office hours.
