OBJECTIVES OF THE DEPARTMENT:-

· To ensure the development of a credible IDP and ensure that the priorities of the communities are incorporated in the planning processes of the municipality

· To facilitate and implement Housing projects and ensure that the community within Moses Kotane Local Municipality live and work in sustainable human settlements with well designed and quality homes

· To promote local economic growth and development and job creation for local residents and contribute to a significant alleviation of poverty

· To ensure proper building control

· Land use management and land administration
