PROFILE OF MR GABANAKGOSI:-

Mr. Katlego Terrell Gabanakgosi qualified for a National Diploma in Civil Engineering in 1998 (Technikon Northern Transvaal), and for a B.Tech. Degree in Civil Engineering in 2005 (University of Johannesburg).

He has 9 years experience in the Engineering industry, broken down into 5 years outside South Africa (Tanzania, Botswana, Mozambique and Angola) where he practised as an Engineer for construction giants Murray and Roberts Civils, and later Grinaker-LTA West Africa.

Mr. Gabanakgosi was recruited back to South Africa in 2004 by Botshelo Water Board, where he practised for 4 years as Area Manager for Madikwe District and later the Area Manager for Kagisano Local Municipality area of Jurisdiction. He joined Moses Kotane Local Municipality in February 2008 as a HOD Infrastructure and Technical Services.

OBJECTIVES OF THE DEPARTMENT:-

· To develop infrastructure to enable and ensure service provision that meets the priority of communities;

· To ensure the implementation and maintenance of water, sanitation, roads and stormwater and electrical services;

· To enhance economic growth and development within the municipality through infrastructure project implementation;

· Management of fleet;
